Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes (“A.R.S.”) §§ 38-431.02, 20-663(C) and 20-690(B), notice is hereby given that the Joint Administrative Steering Committee (“JASC”) of the Arizona Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Fund and the Arizona Life and Disability Insurance Guaranty Fund (“the Funds”) will hold a meeting that will be open to the public beginning on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) in the Arizona Department of Insurance Second Floor Large Conference Room (Room 204) at 100 North 15th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85007.

 

Some members of the Committee may attend the meeting telephonically.

 

As indicated in the agenda, the JASC may vote to go into Executive Session, which will not be open to the public, to discuss certain matters.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

  1. Discussion and possible action regarding implementing a process for hiring an executive director.
     
  2. Executive Session, pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(1), to discuss on or more personnel matters, and to discuss or consider employment of an executive director, which may include discussing matters relating to candidates, determining candidates to interview, determining questions to ask candidates, interviewing selected candidates, evaluating candidate interviews, and giving consideration to the employment of an executive director of the Funds.
     
  3. Consideration and any action to be taken as a result of the discussion of the JASC in Executive Session.
     
  4. Call to the public:  This is the time for the public to comment.  Members of the JASC may not discuss items that are not on the agenda.  Therefore, action taken as a result of any public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or scheduling the matter for further discussion and decision at a later date.
